Tech Society Chapter 1: Information, Forgetfulness and Hotdogs [Incomplete]

Responding to the loud and annoying sound of the alarm ruining a good sleep, a hand sluggishly reaches towards it and... *beep* *bee-* *crack* Smacked it with a hammer beside it. Why was there a hammer? Well... *-eep* *beep* *beep*... It will still continue to beep even after you break it and the batteries are gone. The boy experienced this the day before and decided the hammer was a good solution. But he was wrong. "Annoying!" The boy got up and brought the alarm clock to the bathroom where it still continued beeping even as it's parts are falling apart. *flush* After a few muffled beeps, the sound was finally gone. In another household, there was the same alarm clock but what happened was totally different. *beep* *beep* *beep* No one was responding. A single figure was there, laying down wide awake as if in a trance. She didn't look slightly bothered by the annoying noise that was beside her at all. There was only one thing in her mind right now... "I'm hungry..." Her eyes turned towards the only thing making a sound right now. A little while later, the room became silent.
