Content	PROLOGUE The wind howled and whistled as it passed over the thick canopy. The night sky was clear, revealing a cosmic treasure trove in vast darkness that covered the night just in time for the awakening of the nocturnal beings, amongst others as if hiding the attrosities of the night. A bone-chilling cold sweat across the land leaving many a family curled in their beds. The blood moon had just risen ashering in an ancient evil that had long since been forgotten. He lay there on the midnight bejeweled dew foliage with blade in hand and a gaping hole in his chest. Death stood by his side with his mythical soul ripping scythe in hand as if mocking his current helplessly pathetic state. Not worth it's weight in gold. A cold and hissing sound emanated from its gaping jaw. He looked at it's empty eye sockets with bloodshot eyes as if begging for a swift ending. No rest for the wicked... or the cursed. He opened his mouth as he was choking on his own life giving blood struggling to form words that had long eluded him. I... I kn... Know t... Thy... Name... Blood spurted across his body from his mouth as he writhed in pain, veins visible on his forehead it would make one offer this poor soul a coup de grâce. Its demeanor suddenly changed. A thick black smoke-like aura quickly enveloped the vicinity, one could feel the bloodlust a mile away. It became extremely difficult to breath in presence of absolute power and malice. There is a special place in hell for beings like yourself. Think long and hard before you go down this path. The menacing Death had now grown into a towering mass of pain and despair. Its scythe raised above its bony head ready to receive the order to take in one fell swoop. During its descent, a single word was uttured... A... Azriel... The crickets that had been known to serenade the lady of the night fell silent. By now, the crimson moon had fully risen from the east. It's bright red rays peered through the thick canopy, a silent witness to the events that had transpired that would change the course of eternity. 1. MYTHOLOGY In the beginning, Darkness was vast and unending but altogether an empty void. She who wielded powerful cosmic magics could no longer contain such power. Before it had completely annihilated her, she tore herself apart and unleashed a powerful evil which she later imprisoned in the outer reaches of Eternity where time and space do not exist. From her blood flowed vast cosmic oceans and she gave them the name Nebula. The Nebula were self sustaining and with them, the rise of Elder Gods. They were given precious seeds which they cultivated into galaxies to shape as they saw fit. One God in particular wielded creation magic and with it he made planets and placed them in service of his servants the Stars. The Stars were gifted with the breath of life, a powerful cosmic power that awoke the planets and to each a name was given; Jupiter, Neptune, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Pluto and Gaea. In the vast confusion of creation, the evil that Darkness had once subdued tore a piece of it and infected the cosmos and Death was born to take revenge upon all living things. Darkness gave up her life shielded the universe by embracing it and bestowed the power of light to the Stars to illuminate the heavens. The passing of the Matron caused great turmoil and a great war broke out amongst the Elder Gods. The war saw the birth of the seven deadly sins that corrupted the grace of some Gods and the fell into despair. The Gods later combined their powers and locked the sins in a powerful prison that Gaea was entrusted to protect. Thus the Gods imbued the cosmic strings that marked their territories with elder runes that created a great divide between worlds and the order of the Black Hole was formed to stand guard.
