A book review/critique includes reading your book and giving you a written review or critique. For this service, we charge $20 per 5,000 words read. Since each order counts toward 5,000 words, you’ll need to change the quantity of your order to match your book length. For example, if your book is 47,000 words long, you’ll need to place 10 orders of this service.

The opinions are of the reviewer, so they could be positive or negative. If the reviewer doesn’t like your book, then you will receive a written critique with feedback to help you improve your book. However, if the reviewer mostly liked the book, you will receive a written review, in which you have the option of having it posted on alightnovelist.com and short reviews submitted on a few websites of your choosing, including Amazon. Since no book is perfect, the review may contain aspects of your book that the reviewer doesn’t like. We only review books that are light novels, LitRPGs, or superhero books targeted to young adults.

    Description

    Before you buy this service, please fill out the included form and submit your manuscript. Turnaround time is approximately a month after submission and payment but may take longer depending on the number of reviews already scheduled. You must be at least 18 years old and own the rights to the book.

    Agreement

    This agreement is between the author paying for this service and Vic's Lab, LLC. Payment constitutes agreement of the following terms.

    1. REVIEWING TASKS

    The review/critique for the manuscript will correspond to the description outlined in order.

    2. DELIVERY

    Contingent upon submission of manuscript and payment, the written review of the manuscript is to be delivered to the Author approximately within the time outlined in the order.

    3. PAYMENT

    Orders are in 5,000-word increments. The review will be made according to how many orders are paid for.

    4. CONFIDENTIALITY

    Vic's Lab, LLC, agrees not to reproduce, give, or show to anyone any material sent to her by the Author for editing purposes, unless a third party is contracted to fulfill review.

    6. LIMITATIONS

    No guarantees are made as to the salability or marketability of the manuscript. Nor is there a guarantee that the manuscript will be to your satisfaction, since the review would be the opinion of the reviewer and could be positive or negative.

    7. APPLICABLE LAWS

    Both parties agree that this agreement shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

    8. TERMINATION

    Before the project is in process, either party may terminate this Agreement in the event of material change of circumstance with a written notice to the other party or request for cancellation. If cancellation of the order is requested before editing starts, Vic's Lab, LLC, will reimburse payment.

    This agreement is made and entered into by and between the parties hereto on the date of completed purchase.
