By the Time I Found Out
By the time I found out, she had already been dead: her guts spilled across and over the wooden chair, her blood sprayed over the white walls, and her face erupted, revealing a bloody skull and peeling skin within. I looked at this image, horrified beyond belief. My heart raced, my eyes watered, and my ears rang. I repeated to myself "I didn't do this" over and over again. "I didn't do this" was my only hope to delude me from my actions. But deep down, I knew for a fact that this was all my fault. Or maybe it was 2 hours earlier when this all started.
Four men: Hiroki, Riputu, Takuto, and Iisaka ended up in the same room: the kitchen. They looked at the figure in the center and knew exactly what had happened. The one girl they all were familiar with sat at one end of the table.
"Please take a seat" she commanded.
"Where the hell is my money?" Iisaka demanded of her.
"And why the hell did you get Iisaka involved in this?" Riputu asked.
"I came here" declared Hiroki, "now give me my sister back."
"I thought this was just a friendly party," said Takuto.
"It is," she said, calmly as the waves that end on the beach.
"I have here on this desk a simple game," she explains, "it is called Live Less or Die More."
"A very fun game, by the way."
Taken aback by her calmness, the men lost their courage to speak against her. Instead, they took a seat at the table, staring daggers at her.
